We will continue learning about reactions to Luther’s 95 Theses and discussing the impact that it had on Europe and current society.

GOALS/OBJECTIVES
Students will be able to explain how Martin Luther’s Reformation impacted other religious revolutions at the time.
Students will be able to analyze primary and secondary sources relating to the new movements that arose.

BODY OF THE LESSON
Review the homework from the day before.
What are the main tenets of Lutheranism and Calvinism?
I will have several students come up to teach the class about this information. I will ask them questions to make sure that they have covered all of the necessary material.
We will then explore other official religious revolutions that occurred as a result of the Protestant Reformation.

Have them fill out a worksheet while watching the video. The worksheet will serve as a section of their notes for the day. I will show the video twice. Once just to watch it and the second time to fill out the sheet.

•If we should be sure that we are right in all things, we should always be ready to accept this principle: I will believe that the white that I see is black, if the hierarchical Church so defines it.
